Late frosts and an early heatwave cut harvests across the valley.

Farmers across the Aurel Valley are changing what they grow after late frosts and an early heatwave cut this year’s harvest.

Wheat yields were down by about a fifth. Some farms are trying crops that ripen faster, such as early potatoes, or cope better with heat, such as sorghum.
