Twenty murals now line the path from the central station to the river, turning a mile of grey walls into an open-air gallery.

Residents chose the themes at a series of meetings last year. They range from the tram that once ran along the route to the birds of the estuary.

A free map of the murals is available at the station, and guided walks take place every Sunday morning.
