A choir of 300 children from every school in Port Aurel will sing on the harbour wall at dusk on Friday, to mark the start of work on the new harbour.

The programme includes old sea songs collected from dock workers in the 1950s, arranged for the choir by a local composer.

The concert is free. Roads around Old Quay will close from 6pm.
