What the new district boundaries mean for your vote

Three wards have changed shape. Here is how to check which one you are in.

About 38,000 voters in Port Aurel will vote in a different ward this year after the boundary commission redrew three districts to keep them roughly the same size.

Most of the changes are in the south of the city, where new housing has added thousands of voters since the last review. Riverside loses four streets to the new Southmoor ward.

How to check

Your polling card shows your ward and polling station. If you have lost it, the council website has a search by postcode, and you do not need the card to vote.

The commission says the next review will take place in eight years.

Will the buses run later in the evening too, or only at weekends?

Only weekends for now, according to the report.
