Aurel County have named all-rounder Sofia Mendes as captain ahead of their winter tour, taking over from Kenji Arai, who led the side for six seasons.
Mendes, 27, has been vice-captain for two seasons and was the county’s leading wicket-taker last summer.
Arai will stay in the squad. "Sofia is ready, and I am looking forward to just playing," he said.
